Ellie Kettler, LMSW

Clinician

Ellie is a licensed clinical therapist whose goal is to help people move past emotional crises and build a life worth living. She does this by bringing herself into sessions authentically so that her clients see her as a real person who understands them. In Ellie’s sessions, you can expect a personalized and holistic approach that features elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. Over the years, Ellie has developed a particular interest in treating teens and young adults who struggle with emotion dysregulation, anxiety, complex trauma, and difficult life transitions.

Ellie graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Community Health from the University of Maryland, College Park. She went on to get her Master's in Clinical Social Work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Social Work. Throughout her professional career, Ellie has worked in a variety of settings ranging from outpatient care to psychiatric rehabilitation programs (PRP) to residential treatment centers to inpatient units. In addition to receiving comprehensive DBT training from Treatment Implementation Collaborative, Ellie receives ongoing mentorship and supervision from Amanda Pezzanite, LCSW-C and DBT-Linehan Certified Clinician.

When not working, Ellie enjoys spending time with her goldendoodle, Penny, doing escape rooms, listening to podcasts, and thrifting.
